Beautiful Budapest
We´ve had Budapest on the bucket list for many years and finally we went.
We met a Budapest in spring colors and warmth. Oh my, Budapest was an absolute dream! The city is so rich in history and style, I was in awe at every turn. The streets were bursting with colors from the planted flowers and the architecture was breathtaking.
I couldn't resist capturing the stunning Buda Castle and the Matthias Church, overlooking Donau and the Pest side. The statues of prominent figures scattered throughout the city with readable commemorative plaques.
And let's talk about the Great Market Hall - the variety of local delicacies was a treat for my taste buds and my Instagram feed! I particularly loved the display of salami, meat, goose liver, and caviar.
Although I was surprised to find that fish wasn't as widely available, the food was still incredibly satisfying and an experience not to be missed.
Café New York
After a few days of exploring the city, we took a drive to the charming town of Szentendre. The pastel-colored buildings and cobblestone streets by the Donau river made for summer romance. I couldn't resist taking some snaps while indulging in a slice of Sacher cake and a cup of coffee - it was the perfect way to unwind after a busy few days.
Budapest has a unique elegance and flair that speaks to my love of history. The city and its surrounding towns are full of personality and character, making it the perfect destination for anyone seeking inspiration.
We can definetly recommend to go there!
