The impressions from the time of Axel Munthe
San Michele is the villa in Capri, built by the Swedish doctor and writer Axel Munthe, around 1890. Today you can visit the museum, have lunch and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. You can feel the timeless moment while walking in the garden.
With the wind breeze and distinct smell of roses and jasmin, your mind gets wrapped in calmness. Your thoughts can easy travel back in time when the doctor had his entourage gathered enyoing the same exposure to the wind, sun, heat and nyance of flowers.
To get myself into places like this strenghtens my appriciation for elegance. For love. For lust. For life.
In Sweden We have a proverb ”See Capri. Then Die.” It is so true.
